I’ll take The Secret of Kells as a nom. it looks awesome. but Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs should get it over Princess and the Frog.

The Princess and the Frog was entirely a let down, while Meatballs was the surprise of the year. (for me)

I’m also surprised Ponyo wasn’t nominated.

So glad The Hurt Locker was nominated for Best Editing. It was my first thought when I left the theater.

Been seeing a lot of REALLY good foreign films for the Spirit Awards, I can’t believe only one has an Oscar nom.

It’s funny that Sandra Bullock and Woody Harrelson made noteworthy movies AND embarrassingly mediocre movies this year.

Yay for Aardman getting a nominee!

And lastly, I’m disappointed Star Trek didn’t get many nominations. What about best Cinematography?
Good to see Inglorious Basterds is back on the map.
